The-best-things-yet

Frankly, I just found these words in my draft of my facebook notes. Funny, I don't remember I ever wrote these, and haven't posted it yet.

The best things yet is when I realize that more best things are coming. :)
When the situation makes you becoming a grateful person, everything you face seems so nice and easy. Well, just be thankful of what we have and never expect too much from others. Give more and we will receive more. Surely! :)

Shakespeare's Sonnets

Lemme copy-paste some sonnets from William Shakespeare yaap. Again, one of my assignments. -_______-

SONNET #1
by: William Shakespeare

FROM fairest creatures we desire increase,
That thereby beauty's rose might never die,
But as the riper should by time decease,
His tender heir might bear his memory;
But thou, contracted to thine own bright eyes,
Feed'st thy light's flame with self-substantial fuel,
Making a famine where abundance lies,
Thyself thy foe, to thy sweet self too cruel.
Thout that are now the world's fresh ornament
And only herald to the gaudy spring,
Within thine own bud buriest thy content
And, tender churl, mak'st waste in niggarding.
Pity the world, or else this glutton be,
To eat the world's due, by the grave and thee.

SONNET #2
by: William Shakespeare

WHEN forty winters shall besiege thy brow
And dig deep trenches in thy beauty's field,
Thy youth's proud livery, so gazed on now,
Will be a tottered weed of small worth held:
Then being asked where all thy beauty lies,
Where all the treasure of thy lusty days,
To say within thine own deep-sunken eyes
Were an all-eating shame and thriftless praise.
How much more prasie deserved thy beauty's use
If thou couldst answer, 'This fair child of mine
Shall sum my count and make my old excuse,
Proving his beauty by succession thine.
This were to be new made when thou art old
And see thy blood warm when thou feel'st cold

SONNET #3
by: William Shakespeare

LOOK in thy glass, and tell the face thou viewest
Now is the time that face should form another,
Whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest,
Thou dost beguile the world, unbless some mother.
For where is she so fair whose uneared womb
Disdains the tillage of thy husbandry?
Or who is he so fond will be the tomb
Of his self-love, to stop posterity?
Thou art thy mother's glass, and she in thee
Calls back the lovely April of her prime;
So thou through windows of thine age shalt see,
Despite of wrinkles, this thy golden time.
But if thou live rememb'red not to be,
Die single, and thine image dies with thee.

The-poems-that-should-be-analyzed

Last Tuesday, I joined Poetry Explication class. My nice-nanana-lecturer gave us a poem from Robert Browning, and asked us to find the imagery. Hoo, I guess I am not imaginative enough to do it. Hhh, unfortunately I have to. -_______-

Meeting at Night
by Robert Browning (1812-1889)

The gray sea and the long black land;
And the yellow half-moon large and low
And the startled little waves that leap
In fiery ringlets from their sleep,
As I gain the cove with pushing prow,
And quench its speed i' the slushy sand.

Then a mile of warm sea-scented beach;
Three fields to cross till a farm appears;
A tap at the pane, the quick sharp scratch
And blue spurt of a lighted match,
And a voice less loud, through its joys and fears,
Than the two hearts beating each to each!

Have you found the imagery of that poem, Heem? Okay, of course yes. My lecturer has told me in the class. Hahaha -___________-
Oiyap, I have an assignment to find the other poems to be analyzed. Parting at Morning by Robert Browning and The Sick Rose by William Blake. Here they are...

Parting at Morning
by Robert Browning (1812-1889)

Round the cape of a sudden came the sea,
And the sun looked over the mountain's rim:
And straight was a path of gold for him,
And the need of a world of men for me.

The Sick Rose
by William Blake (1757-1827)

O rose, thou art sick!
     The invisible worm,
That flies in the night,
     In the howling storm,
Has found out thy bed
     Of crimson joy,
And his dark secret love
     Does thy life destroy.

Umm, anyway..is it important to post this matter, Tiara?? Hahaha

Classical Novel Analyses, Ups!

Hmmm..hmm..hmm..
Today is my first day in the Classical Novel Analyses class. And do you know what I'm thinking? WHOAAAA! Yes, I don't even describe it. Stupid.  -_____- I have to take this one, so that I can take the Contemporary Novel Analyses class in the next semester. Don't you hate that fact, Tiara? Yes, Oh No! Oh Yes!
I loveee reading so much. Hm, okay, not that much. But if I have to choose between reading or writing, I'll choose reading! I have read some novels--as I remember--in this four months. Breakfast at Tiffany's by Truman CapoteEat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia by Elizabeth Gilbert, Lolita by Vladimir Nabokov, and The Amateur Marriage by Anne Tyler! Frankly, the last two novels haven't finished yet. HAHA, remember, I'm a moody person uyeeee.

And by the class I have taken for this semester, I have to read two more novels that are given by my-nice-rather-killer-lecturer. They are The Canterville Ghost by Oscar Wilde and The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne. And of course analyze some aspects. Amazing! It will be a long semester, but i know I can pass it well. As always, amieeen my Lord..
:-D

Hmm, mad day! Good day! Good evening! And see you in the next curcol anyway

Viola!

Hap.. hap.. hap.. :D

Hello there! Hurray, it's my new blog!
Hahaha, maap sedikit ngelantur :D

Yes, it's not my first blog anyway. Hey everybody knows, except you perhaps :p Flashback sedikit, blog pertama aku udah ada sejak aku kelas 3 SMA, empat tahun lalu.

And this is it! My fourth blog! See you soon! *Brb
